  • The Lock-up: North Street
  • Playing Fields: Recreation Ground, Skate Park, Trim Trail
  • Play Areas: Lower Millfield, Oakroyd Avenue, Recreation Ground, Talberds Ley
  • Public Open Spaces: Braintree Road Picnic Area, Chelmer Valley, Harp Mead, Lower Millfield, Parsonage Downs, Talberds Ley, The Downs (including Doctors Pond), Threaders Green, Castleden Meadow, David Cock Woodland
  • Public Toilets: Town Square, Recreation Ground

REPRESENTATION

The Town Council, as an elected statutory authority representing the local community, is consulted by Government Departments, the County Council, the District Council and a wide range of official and voluntary organisations to give the views of Great Dunmow on matters such as:

  • Footpaths
  • Health Services
  • Licences
  • Planning Applications & Policy Documents
  • Public Transport
  • Road Schemes

The Town Council also makes representations on behalf of the community, taking into account the views received from individuals and organisations.
